On a misty morning with no wind, the water of this lake was as smooth as a mirror. The mist and the reflection in the water of this island with plants created a mystical image. The symmetry and the quiet colours also make it a relaxing image.

I was born on Goeree Overflakkee and there are beautiful nature reserves to photograph such as the Kwade Hoek and the Slikken van Flakkee. I love to travel and try to capture both the culture and nature of distant countries photographically.
I have done a number of courses to really qualify myself in the profession and also give workshops to share this knowledge.
