The beauty of the reflecting nature of the N Tree in the Everglades is visible in this Black and White photograph.
This Dwarf Cypress tree known as the Z Tree or the N Tree lives in the Florida Everglades National Park. Most call it the Z Tree but I see it's natural shape lends more to being called the N Tree. How it got it's shape no one really knows. Some say it was created by Indians. Native Americans were known to bend young trees to create permanent trail markers. The bent trees would serve as markers designating safe paths and would point travelers in the direction of food, water, or other important landmarks. Some say it grew that way and/or was shaped by the rough weather from Hurricanes. Regardless on how it got it's shape this little tree is a joy to see.
