Reflection in the Eyes of the Highlander
An imposing Scottish Highlander appears in a layered reflection, where nature and abstract structures merge. Created from two carefully chosen photographs. Edited in Photoshop and Corel Painter X3, this image captures both the raw power of the animal and the poetic stillness of its surroundings. The textures and colours create an almost tangible depth, while the highlander's gaze engages in a silent dialogue with the viewer.
Size recommendation:
- For an impactful statement in a living room or hallway: 80 x 120 cm (standing format).
- For a larger wall or gallery presentation: 100 x 150 cm or 120 x 160 cm.
Material recommendation:
- Aluminium (Dibond) - Perfect for a clean, matte look where the rich textures remain clearly visible.
- Acrylic glass - Gives extra depth and gloss, making the colours and textures even more intense.
- Canvas - Provides a softer, warmer look, almost like a classic painting.
- Artframe - Gives a sleek look.
