A morning photo of Haarlem slowly waking up. There was little wind and that made for beautiful reflections in the Spaarne. The Spaarne is a river that runs through Haarlem to Spaarndam. The name is probably derived from "Spier," which means reeds. Pictured are the Waag, the tower of the Grote or Sint-Bavokerk, and Teylers Museum.
