About the artwork

An early morning at the edge of Emerald Lake, Canada. The distinctive red canoes lie ready for use, contrasting beautifully with the lake's famous turquoise waters. Golden light falls on the mountains, which in turn reflect perfectly in the mirror-smooth water. It doesn't get more restful than this!

Canada is known for its beautiful lakes and Emerald Lake is one of the most famous examples. Many people explore the lake from the water by canoe. This photo shows the 'calm before the storm': in the early morning, hardly anyone was out. For me, those are the best moments: being able to explore and capture a beautiful place in peace.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
