I play with light, colour and shape to create a world that is both mysterious and soothing. This abstract photographic work is a fusion of glass and light-a mosaic of reflections that together form a harmonious whole. The shades of blue and green dance in the light, creating an atmosphere of stillness and contemplation.
My inspiration came from a moment of wonder when sunlight brought a century-old stained-glass window to life. The way colours meet and change under the influence of light fascinates me, and I wanted to capture that in this work. There is no set form or story here-it is an invitation to discover for yourself what the image evokes.
This work is in keeping with the tradition of stained-glass art, such as that of Marc Chagall and Louis Comfort Tiffany, artists who elevated colour and light to emotion. But it is also a modern interpretation-a play of abstraction in which the viewer can always discover something new.
What makes this work special is the way it affects the space around it. As a work of art on the wall, it captures light and atmosphere in a unique way that makes it never seem the same. It brings a touch of magic to any environment, a work of art that continues to intrigue and inspire.
