About ‘Rijnkade Arnhem during sunset.’ by Nicky Kapel

Rijnkade Arnhem during sunset.

The Rijnkade is a street and quay in the center of the Dutch city of Arnhem, situated on the Rhine River. The Rijnkade runs between the John Frost Bridge and the Nelson Mandela Bridge. The quay offers cafés and restaurants during the summer months and is a place of remembrance of the Battle of Arnhem.

The Rijnkade offers space for various events. Annual events such as The Bridge to Liberation and Sinterklaas take place on the Rijnkade. The Arnhem Battle Information Centre is located on the Rijnkade, opposite the John Frost Bridge. The operation and layout is provided by the Airborne Museum. The Jacob Groenewoudplantsoen is the memorial square around the Battle of Arnhem near the Rijnkade. In 2017, the resistance monument was redesigned and relocated at the Rijnkade in the Jacob Groenewoudplantsoen.

Two national monuments are located on the Rijnkade, at numbers 3 and opposite 28. The first is an original semi-detached mansion built in the period around 1860. The second national monument is a former lock of the culvert type. It was built in the second half of the 19th century. (Source: Wikipedia)

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
