A figurative work of wire & textile on a transparent gold voile fabric.
Her textile works can be described as figurative with a touch of realism in mixed media. The works are characterised by an emotional charge and raise questions. During the process, elements of alienation arise which are added or omitted to her work. Recurring themes are female figures, sensuality, strength and vulnerability, in which Kim does justice to the structure of various materials such as textiles. She studied Monumental Design at the Academy of Fine Arts (Maastricht Institute of Arts) and opened her atmospheric Atelier-Galerie MIM in a historic building in 2017.
