During my trip through Denmark, one location I definitely wanted to visit was the Rubjerg knude lighthouse!!!
This one was ago in north-west Jutland, near the famous coastal town of Lokken.
It is beautifully situated in the sand dunes, high atop a cliff. Because of its location, it has been moved several times, to avoid falling into the sea.
It was a tempestuous day, with changeable weather and a strong force 6 wind. Wonderful conditions for a photographer like me, a bit less so for tourists. Due to the changeable weather, there were frequent showers.
At the time of this photo, it was quiet for a while and the tourists had mostly left. In this closeup, you can see all the details of this beautiful lighthouse.
I also have a landscape view, where you can see more of the landscape.
