Famagusta is a city on the east coast of Cyprus.
The old walled city and parts of the modern city are currently within the de facto Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
In ancient times, the city was known as Arsinoe and the city became about 274 BC. Established.
In 1570-1571 Famagusta was the last fortress in Venetian Cyprus to keep the Turks under Mustafa Pasha.
In the background you will see the St. Nicholas Cathedral.
