"Rural simple serenity: Caught in a web of the Tragopogon" is an extreme macro photo of a fluff of a beautiful fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon. A Tragopogon (in the Netherlands this plant is also called Morgenster) is related to the common Dandelion. The structure of this tuft reminds me of a kind of spider's web, in which lots of tiny water droplets are "caught". Hence, I named this photo accordingly.
Because of the shallow depth of field I chose when taking this photo, you see part of the fluff with water droplets sharp, and where the fluff deflects further back (and forward), it gradually fades. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see what I mean.
To my mind, the colours help create a rural atmosphere (besides the subject matter, of course). The (light) brown tones give a natural, calm, warm feel to this photo.
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration, (on aluminium, canvas or ArtFrame, for example) in the bedroom, dining room or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
