Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

The 20 centimetre long peacock tail-felt socketworm lives in tubes that they have made out of sand and saliva themselves. With their feathers they filter food like plankton out of the water.

When she feels threatened, the felt tube worm can retreat rapidly into her tube.

Enak Cortebeeck

Antwerpen, Belgium

ENAK CORTEBEECK is an Antwerp-based art director and designer, working in film, television, children’s media, user experience and socio-cultural campaigns. He has worked for clients including the BBC, Warner Bros., the European Union and De Filistijnen.

As well as his work as a designer, Enak is an underwater photographer. In his images, he explores texture, colour and the silent geometry of coral ecosystems.
