A long sand path through the Terheijdense Binnenpolder, a peat meadow area created by peat extraction between the 13th and 15th century. The marshy terrain was lowered by 1.5 meters as a result. The area, managed by Staatsbosbeheer, lies near the village Terheijden in Brabant, municipality Drimmelen.
