About ‘Seville - Spain’ by Dries van Assen

Seville is a municipality and the capital of the Spanish autonomous region of Andalusia, and of the province of Seville. It is the most important city in southern Spain in terms of culture, politics, economy and art. In 2013, the city had 700,169 inhabitants, and the Seville metropolitan area is home to 1,519,639 people.

Seville is located on the Guadalquivir River, which is navigable for not too large ocean-going vessels all the way into the city. Seville has the largest historical centre in Spain and one of the largest in Europe,[1] in which the city's main attractions, the Cathedral of Seville with its tower Giralda, the Alcázar and the Torre del Oro are located. Seville's Triana district is considered the birthplace of the Spanish dance and music style flamenco. The city is also known in Spain for the unofficial, but very different dialect spoken there. Because of the pronunciation, the "sevillanos" are not always understandable even to other Spaniards.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
