About the artwork

A shark is a marine predator that is one of the largest and most feared fish in the world. There are over 400 species of shark, which differ in size, shape and behaviour. Most sharks have an elongated body with a dorsal fin and a tail fin, which enables them to move quickly and efficiently in the water.

Sharks are famous for their sharp, triangular teeth, which are constantly renewed. They have an excellent sense of smell, which enables them to detect their prey even over great distances. Sharks are predators and feed mainly on fish, seals, small marine mammals and occasionally carcasses.

Some shark species are dangerous to humans and may attack surfers, swimmers or divers, although such incidents are relatively rare. Famous predatory sharks include the great white shark, the tiger shark and the bull shark.

Sharks are fascinating animals that have existed in the world's oceans for millions of years. Their evolution has made them efficient hunters and they play an important role in the ocean ecosystem. Unfortunately, many shark species are endangered or already severely depleted due to overfishing and pollution. However, efforts are being made worldwide to protect sharks and conserve their populations.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
