Six sheep graze under the dense foliage of old cork oaks near Evora in Portugal. In a small clearing illuminated by the sunlight, they offer an idyllic picture and convey peace, tranquillity and tranquillity. On a drive through the interior of Portugal, one sees sheep grazing under trees again and again. Rarely, however, does one find such an idyll, reminiscent of paintings by romantic artists of times past. For me, it was a chance find in the corner of my eye while driving along a country road. I stopped and walked back to the spot where one could look through a gap in the roadside at this scene. Only a sheep noticed me and looked directly at me. A beautiful and immediate encounter, pausing and touching. Framed by the majestic old trees, an island of peace and tranquillity was created.
