This macro photo of shells in natural tones consists of two photos of just one shell (the spined heart shell, Acanthocardia echinata) creatively joined together. The photo creates the illusion that the shells are surrounded by the water of the sea.
I took this photo using multiple exposure. This is a fun photo technique that allows you to create particularly creative photos. Photographing a shell is already fun to do but I like it even more to make an artistic photo with a special twist.
In this photo I used sparkling light and soft natural colors. This creates the ultimate vacation photo. Because for me, shells are part of vacation. Walking along the beach and looking for shells. I love to do that!
And vacation stands for freedom. No obligations but just doing what you feel like!
