The clouds in the sunny blue sky. The rusty spots and mooring lines to the quay. The rusty anchors on the old range bow. The old ship moored at the jetty in Amsterdam harbour.
I arrived by motorbike and saw the ship towering above the clouds . The idea to take photos of the old bow was born. The older ship with beautiful lines and the bow with the rusty spots reminded me of the old port photos's of the past. The more hawsers you see go to the piles next to the jetty.
Raw and the harbour as it is the people working there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbour is another world. The landscape of the port is always changing. The ships the people the landscape it continues to fascinate me.
