Owls, I think they are so beautiful. They are so endearing, wonderful to look at. And especially an owl chick. A little fluffy ball. And then when you get the opportunity to take a picture of one, I like to take that chance.
In the spring, the eagle owl lays two to four eggs. The female broods. The male provides the female with food. The eagle owls usually hunt at dusk, but if they have young they may also hunt during the day.
After about 34 days the gray-white young hatch. After 28 to 30 days the young leave the nest. They can then walk, jump and climb using wing beats.
