Portugal - In the centre of the elegant Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon lies a small, inconspicuous but highly symbolic masterpiece: a star-shaped mosaic made of limestone and basalt stone, embedded in the famous Calçada Portuguesa. What at first glance appears to be a random detail turns out, on closer inspection, to be the personal signature of a paving company - because in Lisbon, every specialist company involved in the paving work leaves its own artistic mark.

This photo not only shows the precision craftsmanship and cultural heritage of the Portuguese paving tradition, but also pays homage to the quiet genius of the anonymous artists who transform the city's streets into a walkable work of art. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
