This photo was taken on a drizzly day in December through the wet car window of my car somewhere in the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen polders. The beautiful silhouette of the spent Giant hogweed stood out beautifully against the backdrop of the drizzly weather where just for a moment the sun peeped through.
The colour tone of the photo is sober, yet lively due to the relief. The photo is a calming eye-catcher in your interior.
Adding a home-made texture in post-processing gives the photo a painted look.
That is how I call this form of photography and post-processing, "Painting with the camera".
