"Simplicity: The lost fluff" is a macro photo of a dandelion's fluff with water droplets on it. Due to the lighting and the reflective watery surface, an abstract blurred interplay of lines emerges behind the fluff. The sharpness (and focus) is at the point where the stalk passes into the hairs of the fluff. Because the depth of field is very shallow (just a few millimetres from the point where the stalk merges into the hairs of the fluff), in addition to creating a dreamy atmosphere, it also creates a sense of depth, as the sharpness decreases towards the front and back. The drops also help create this dreamy atmosphere. They reflect the light and this creates sparkles and reflections in the drops between the fluffy hairs of the dandelion fluff. I would describe the colours as grey (especially at the bottom) and the more you look up in the image, the more taupe/beige seems to appear.
