The Punta Grande hotel, the little building in the photo, is - unlike its name suggests - the smallest hotel in the world. It has only three rooms, which enjoy beautiful views of the volcanic landscape.
I made this image during a trip across several Spanish islands. El Hierro surprised me; there are few tourists, max. 3000 per year. Because of this, the island still retains its authenticity.
