About "Solidified movement"

About the artwork

Gestolde beweging captures a moment when everything seems to happen at the same time and comes to a standstill. The image shows a play of distorted shapes and colours that seem to dance, but are frozen in a fraction of time. Reddish-brown, ochre-yellow and coppery hues form jagged contours reminiscent of figures, towers or a city in blur. Everything seems to be in motion - and yet it stands still.

The transparent layers, alternating between cool blue, bright white and vibrant green, give the work depth and rhythm. Like watching reflections in a vibrating surface, but without the volatility of water. The abstract forms suggest dynamism, while the frozen composition evokes a sense of stillness. It is a paradox that continues to fascinate.

In this work, movement is made tangible, as if a dance or stream of thoughts were suddenly captured. A moment in which time seems to slow down, in which the ephemeral is preserved. Solidified movement invites you to keep looking, again and again, discovering something new each time in the stillness of the changeable

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
