The Small Waterfall in Park Sonsbeek has great cultural-historical value. The park in its entirety is a national monument.
Along the St. Jansbeek there used to be many watermills.
The Small Waterfall is the oldest waterfall in Sonsbeek. It replaced the Sonsbeker mill. The waterfall dates from the 19th century. The Kleine Waterval was fully restored in 1998.
Near the Kleine Waterval is the Hangbrug.
