About "Soul under the Arm"

About the artwork

A hazy, almost fleeting form seems to rest in someone's hand - a shadow of a human being, heavy with fatigue and emptiness. The contours fade into dark shades of brown and black, while white paint strokes and subtle red highlights give the image something human, something fragile. This work breathes dejection, the phase when words fail and only silence speaks.

The inspiration lies in those moments when life loses its luster, when nothing seems to come naturally. "Soul under the Arm" is not a lament, but an honest recognition that sometimes things are not rosy. The soul, depicted here as a weight to be carried, symbolises the burden of existence - and at the same time the ability to keep on carrying it.

The rough brushstrokes and minimal use of colour give the work a raw directness. It invites the viewer to feel rather than explain.

In an interior, this work is a powerful, emotional anchor - a reminder that vulnerability also has beauty.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
