The PZ865 is a single-engine Hawker Hurricane fighter aircraft from World War II. The aircraft was built in 1944 at the Hawker factory in Langley, Buckinghamshire.
This particular aircraft was the last of the 14,533 Hurricanes produced and is flown today to commemorate the 1940 Battle of Britain (air war) when Nazi Germany sought to invade the United Kingdom.
The aircraft is flown and maintained by the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which is based at RAF Coningsby.
