This amazing and huge old steel railway bridge crosses the water of the Firth of Forth in Scotland, near Edinburg. It is very high and of unusual construction. Built on large stone piers. Historically a feat of engineering. The water is wide and the bridge disappears into the mist. The sight is of a piece of history in the development of materials, engineering and labour.
