There are beautifully created pyramids in the garden. It is beautifully sunny so there are considerable contrasts. This makes them look sturdy. It is a row of seven, all exactly the same size, also the same distance apart. In a garden, these are peculiar objects because not at all natural, plant- or tree-like. They have become sculptures, freestanding sculptures. As far as I am concerned, the natural material they are made of, pruned and sheared conifers, is not so captivating. The sleek shapes exude a completely different world. Which is more about art and architecture. In that sense, I find them very interesting and attractive. They transform the garden into an almost unearthly landscape. That's why I changed the colours in that direction too. As if seven objects landed neatly on a field. As if they are waiting for the next phase of their presence. As if they also want to communicate something but have few opportunities to do so. In the sharp sun, they are trembling. The rough surface also indicates that they have been through a lot. Along the way, their sides are wearing down. But they apparently have thick skin.
