"Still life in black and white (shades of grey): A drop on a feather " is a macro photo of a peaceful scene (still life): A droplet lying on a feather.
It is a macro photo in which the depth of field is small, giving a dreamlike atmosphere because a small part (including the drop) is in focus. It creates a minimalist image that radiates tranquillity. Because the drop slightly enlarges the piece of spring behind it, you get a special effect. This is where the focus is. This little scene of the feather and drop is only a few centimetres big in reality!
This is a black-and-white (grey) image. The same work in colour (shades of brown) can be found under work code: 1362731.
The lighting is chosen in such a way that there is still a tension in the picture, despite the calmness, there is something exciting in the lighting for my feeling. This is because light falls on one part and the part of the feather falls in shadow.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the waiting room, bedroom, children's room or of course just above the couch in the living room!
