This photo "Still life in natural country colours: hydrangea leaves" is a macro photo of a set of hydrangea leaves (it's four leaves on a twig). These hydrangea leaves have already been sun-dried, and the leaves have turned a beautiful beige colour as a result. Because of this discolouration of the leaves and because the leaves have become thin, the veins become clearly visible. If you zoom in on this photo, you can see just how much detail the leaf has been photographed. When taking this photo, I chose a depth-of-field, which ensures that the focus is on the front leaf and the further forward and back you look, the blurrier the image becomes. This gives a calmness to the picture, but also at the same time a sense of depth to the picture. In my opinion, this creates a serene, simple wall decoration that could hang beautifully in a Japandi, Wabi-sabi or rural interior, for example.
