Stonehenge in the south of England is a timeless place, captured here by me in monochrome nuances. Like a fragment from another world - the massive stones, dark grey and full of scars, stand against the sky, which shimmers in a pale, diffuse light.
The contrast between the pale grass, shimmering in silver tones, and the dark, sharp-edged monoliths makes the scenery appear harsh and yet harmonious. Each stone seems to whisper stories of ancient rituals and secrets, its weathered exterior marked by wind and time.
The shadows that are lost between the stones seem almost tangible, as if they are filling the gaps between past and present. And above it all lies a silence, heavy and haunting - as if nature itself is holding its breath to preserve this sight. An eternal moment.
