A spring evening during sunset with a 2 minute exposure at former straw board factory "De Toekomst" in Scheemda, Groningen.
The factory complex was founded by the Coöperatieve Strokartonfabriek foundation and actually consisted of two separate factories: De Toekomst I, built in 1900 and De Toekomst II, built in 1908, both designed by architect Pieter Geert Cremer from Nieuwolda.
The production of strawboard was discontinued in 1968, after which the early industrial complex, was appointed a national monument.
