Gerard In 1928, the three impressive buildings at Strijp-S known as the Hoge Rug—Anton, Gerard and the Apparatenfabriek—were erected at a rapid pace. During the Philips era, the Gerard building served as a factory, but in 2013 it was transformed by the Trudo housing association into a unique place to live, work and shop.
