The Sulawesi dwarf honeyeater (Myzomela chloroptera) is an endemic species of honeyeater found on Sulawesi. The Sulawesi pygmy honeyeater has a wide range and therefore, alone, it is unlikely to achieve vulnerable (to extinction) status. The population size has not been quantified. The bird is scarce but locally common. For these reasons, this dwarf honeyeater is listed as non-threatened on the IUCN Red List.
