I love moments like this in the Hageland: one flower taking the lead, while the others sing as a chorus in the background. A typical image of late summer. The world is fertile and crops abound with beautiful colours.
I chose a low angle and a short depth of field so that the veins in the leaves and the grains in the heart become tangible. So that the flowers are at eye level and you can become one with the field.
For me, this image is pure zest for life, but also anchored in earth-strong, simple, honest. It works beautifully in kitchens or living spaces where warm tones are allowed to enter. Not a postcard bright yellow, but a natural glow that lingers for a long time.
