About "View through to the field."

About the artwork

This picture arose in a moment of curiosity: through a rough opening where a glass was too small for a window, I looked out over a green Hagelands field, with a small barn in the distance.

The hard, weathered frame contrasted with the openness of the landscape behind it. The ice flowers on the glass, with the sunny view.

I find that field of tension fascinating: enclosure versus space, the intimate versus the vast, cold and heat, blue and yellow.

The vista acts as a natural 'window' that guides the eye and frames the story. I love how an everyday detail, a hole in a wall, a forgotten corner, can become an invitation to pause, to look further, to reflect.

On the wall, this image acts as a visual anchor. The textures give depth, the perspective arouses curiosity, and the small barn offers a
landmark without dominating the whole.

For me, this is an ode to 'looking deeper': through the layers of material, memory and landscape, to where the silence of the field begins.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
