About ‘Sunlight through Reed Plumes’ by Ton Wever

One sunny day, I was walking along a reed bed and saw the sun shining through the reed plumes in a beautiful way.
The edges of the reed plumes were beautifully illuminated by it.
I wanted to capture this in photo, but in a different way than just taking a picture.
By playing a bit with the camera settings, I got these shades of blue in the photo.
That was also kind of what I had in mind.
Because while I was taking the picture, I saw a picture in front of me of a CD cover of a CD I once bought.
Back home, I looked in my CD collection and found that the cover of The Creatures' CD Boomerang had corresponding shades of blue.

Thank you for taking the trouble to look at my photos.
My name is Ton Wever, born in 1960 and living in Alkmaar.
Photography has always been my interest, first with rolls, but since 2009 digitally, currently with a Nikon D7500, and occasionally with my mobile phone.
As you can see from these photos, I have a broad interest in photography, my preference is nature, in the broadest sense of the word.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
