The Rozendaalsche veld (also written as Rozendaalse veld) is a heathland on the Veluwe in the municipality of Rozendaal near Velp.
It is a fairly large and high-lying heathland with quite a lot of relief and quite large differences in height. Near the Rozendaal sand is the Signaal Imbosch, the highest point in the Veluwe (110 meters). The height differences make the area very attractive for recreation. The area measures approximately 542 ha. To the east and north it connects so closely with the Veluwezoom National Park that from a landscape perspective it forms a single entity with the Rheder- and Worthrhederheide, the central heathland in this national park. To the west it connects with the Rozendaalse Bos.
To the southwest lies the Rozendaalse Zand. This medium-sized sand drift was cleared of approximately 17 ha of forest starting in 2009 to allow the sand to actively drift again.
Another name for the area is the Velperhei. It was previously managed by the 'geërfden van het dorp Velp', an old marke organization that still exists and asserts rights and some influence in decisions regarding the management of the area. On February 5, 1920, the area was transferred to the municipality of Rheden by the 'geërfden van het dorp Velp' under strict conditions. To commemorate this, there is a memorial in the form of a stone bench on the Pinkenbergseweg in Rozendaal, exactly where a real toboggan run was built at the time. This so-called 'geërfdenbank' contains bullet holes wh
My name is Lisa Kompier, I live in Maarssen (Utrecht) and I am 29 years old.
My passion started about 7 years ago when there were still cameras with rolls that you had to hand in at the store so they could be developed.
I bought my first camera from the marketplace, and even though I was sold! From photographing in nature and small parties to big festivals like Rebirth & Supersized Kingsday. Later I came in contact with Partyflock and since then I photograph a festival every now and then.
By now I'm working on a very wide range of different types of photography such as portrait photography, landscape photography, wild life photography, bridal and festival photography all the way to the border with storm chasing and looking for a story behind an abandoned chateau with a beautiful history in Urban-exploring. You can find examples of this in my Portfolio
I'm always open to a challenge, so do you have any questions, comments or would you like to make a booking? Send an email to info@lisaantoinettephotography.nl
