About the artwork

he last light of day seemed to settle softly across the waves, giving the sea a smooth, almost brushed-metal texture. Low, shifting clouds streaked the sky, layering shades of grey, cream, and faint gold above the horizon. In this vertical composition, the viewer’s gaze is drawn downward from the layered sky to the restless water, where gentle foam gathers quietly at the water’s edge. The ships on the horizon are barely more than silhouettes, distant and still compared to the motion of the waves rolling in. I took a low angle to bring attention to the slick reflection of sky on the wet sand—a subtle mirror of the light just before dusk. It felt like a quiet pause, where nothing rushed, not even the tide. The palette is mostly muted, a mixture of cool blues and warm tones just barely touching the surface. This shot wasn’t about drama—it was about a quieter moment, the kind that asks you to linger and just take it in.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
