About "Nature photo Tree BNW with Sunstars"

About the artwork

Some scenes are quieter than they seem at first. This one, for example, is all about stillness—but there’s energy hiding in it. The photograph looks up into a tall tree, its thick trunk anchoring the center while branches stretch outward like a slow-motion burst. The leaves form a dense canopy, catching bits of light, and just near the lower right side, a single sunburst breaks through. It’s small, but sharp, and brings everything else into balance.

What struck me in the moment was how the light didn’t overwhelm the shadows—it worked with them. That little star of light felt like a gentle reminder that even the darkest parts of the forest have their moments of glow. I was crouching awkwardly under the tree, hoping the sun wouldn’t slip behind a cloud before I got the angle right. Luckily, it didn’t.

The black and white palette turns this into more than just a nature photo. It becomes a study of shapes and rhythm, of silence broken only by a single, steady flicker.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
