On a quiet winter evening, I stood on the beach at Talisker Bay in Scotland with my camera on a tripod. The sea was calm and the waves were gently rolling towards the shore. Using a slightly slower shutter speed, I tried to capture the movement of the waves as they reached the shoreline. The air was filled with the smell of the sea and the last remnants of daylight coloured the horizon. It was a moment of peace and serenity, trying to capture the natural beauty of this magical beach on the Isle of Skye.
I am always looking for the most beautiful light to capture, whether in the city or in the wilderness near the Arctic Circle. A great personal motivation is to visualize the beauty of nature, in order to inspire others to be more careful with our (home) planet. .. Read more…
