The salt marsh areas of the Groningen mud flats are so photogenic. The tide keeps the mud moving and new structures are always emerging.
In the photo, the inlet of a salt marsh is formed by poles and willow branches. The inlet silt settles at high tide and remains when the tide goes out, causing it to silt up more and more.
The X is a nice eye-catcher in the photo. Enjoy is on it was during low tide and sunset.
