This year, we again got to go with the Forestry Commission to the uninhabited Wadden Island; Rottumeroog. In 2019, I went with buddies from the photo club, now with my buddy.
Because of the tide, the trip back to the boat was during sunset. So beautiful to be able to enjoy this wide view in such'an environment. And then this sky, how lucky.
There is a layer of water on the sand which creates a beautiful reflection of the sky. The golden strip of sunlight cuts through the boundary line on the horizon. I could go on enjoying it, but unfortunately it doesn't last for hours.
The trip from the island takes about'fifteen minutes. A nice walk across the hard seabed. There are whole shells everywhere, as well as a trace of seaweed.
Wherever you look it is just unreal beauty. A clean beach, flocks of birds and lovely salt water at your feet. According to the forester, most swarms of birds return at high tide.
And to think that when we leave soon, fish and seals will be swimming and chasing each other here again.
Are you buying this work? Then I wish you enormous viewing pleasure. Thanks in advance!

Hans de Waay - enjoying landscapes & the city
Landscapes are beautiful to hang on the wall. You get out. Lovely to look at and dream away.
I try to capture the most beautiful moments. Often on the edges of the day. In the morning or in the middle of the night.
Thank..
