We see a 19th-century painting of a woman in a black hat, painted in 1889.
I have manipulated the image with modern techniques to make the look of the woman and her clothes even more beautiful.
She seems to be looking at you thoughtfully. Almost inquisitive.
In this work, too, I think I recognise a light that is called 'Rembrandt light'. The framing of the painting keeps your gaze fixed on the young woman's face and her clothes.
Real encounters with people all over the world have attracted me from childhood. Traveling uninhibitedly unknown countries and continents and making contact with their residents.
