About the artwork

What happens in the moment just before you submerge? This photo shows a lone swimmer, captured on the serene Issyk-Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan. The composition is clean and minimalist: sand, water and sky form three calm planes that together feel almost abstract. Only the figure: small, concentrated, at the point of surrender to the water, breaks this stillness.

My inspiration for this work came from a desire for simplicity and introspection. In a world full of stimuli and movement, I wanted to create an image that actually stands still, in which the viewer takes a breath.

The atmosphere is calm, meditative. The swimmer, with his back to the camera, invites you to look with him, to feel with him. The water is not only a physical space, but also a symbol: of silence, cleansing, and letting go.

With this photo, I want to capture the beauty of the moment before the action. The point at which everything is still possible.

In an interior, this work brings calm and balance. The minimalist play of colours and clear lines make it suitable for both modern and warm spaces, where it adds both stillness and depth.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
