Swiss Air Force's PC-7 Team.
The Swiss Air Force laid the first foundations for the now internationally renowned PC-7 Team in the 1970s. At the time, the air force flew demonstration flights with two Pilatus P-3 aircraft. After the introduction of the Pilatus PC-7 in 1983, the new orange and silver military training aircraft was flown solo. In 1987, a formation of nine PC-7's was flown for the first time when, on 20 July 1987, the first nine volunteers gathered for a three-day training course in Locarno, the place where Swiss Air Force pilots are trained. The first flight demonstration for the general public was given on 29 August 1987 in Dübendorf. After the airshow, the team received very enthusiastic reactions from the public.
