A new day dawns over Sydney, and the harbour lies still under a soft veil of morning light. The first rays of sunlight break cautiously from behind the flat clouds, as if slowly feeling their way to the edge of the sky. As soon as they appear, the scene is coloured in soft tones - delicate yellow, warm orange and subtle pink flow into each other like a calm brushstroke.
The surface of the water in the harbour appears smooth and clear. Every little movement reflects the colours of the sky, so that the sea itself looks like a luminous ribbon that spreads out between boats, jetties and the distant line of the city. The light haze of the early morning gives everything a special softness, almost like a veil that muffles the sounds and softens the contours.
More light slowly rises above the pylons and roofs, and the colours of the sky change with every minute. Pink disappears quietly into blue, orange becomes brighter, yellow purer. At this moment, Sydney Harbour appears like a silent promise of a clear day - calm, hopeful and full of gentle beauty.
