Here we are looking against the underside of the Brielse Brug, a 1970 connection between the island of Voorne and Rotterdam's Europoort area. We see powerful forms: sturdy arches supported by V-shaped columns. And all in triplicate.
On this beautiful day in early March, the warm glow of the winter sun shines into the picture from the left. The whole thing reflects in the water of the Brielse Meer (formerly the Brielse Maas) And on the right column we see another intriguing play of light from sunlight reflecting on the water.
