About the artwork

El Bañuelo is the ancient and still-visited Arabic bathhouse in Granada. This is the oldest and best-preserved Arab bathhouse or hammam from Andalusia from Moorish times. The bathhouse dates back to the 11th century AD, the time of Moorish rule. Back then, it was an important place to wash, but also to maintain social contacts. Most bathhouses were demolished after the Christian conquest. This bathhouse escaped demolition, making this historic bathhouse unique. The Christians judged the Moorish bathhouses as large brothels; however, this old bathhouse was built above a dwelling, saving this bathhouse from demolition. now the dwelling and bathhouse is a beautiful museum, beautifully restored, lovely serene atmosphere with no bells and whistles to embellish it further. Just the basics, as it was then. Looking at the image with squinted eyes then gives a slightly hazy and misty image, the atmosphere of the high humidity that must have been present during its use. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
